Product Description:

• Agri Nematode is a biological insecticide based on a selective strain of naturally occurring entomopathogenic fungus Paecilomycislilacinus.
• The product contains mycelia fragments.
• The spores of this fungus acts by infecting parasitizing and killing eggs and young adults of most phytophagous nematode species.

• Mode of Action Conidial penetration:
  • Paecilomyceslilacinus on getting attached to the host forms a dense mycelium that gives rise to conidiophores.
  • These bear phialides at the ends of which spores are formed in long chains.
  • The fungus produces an appressorium (a swelling on the end of the germ tube) which marks the start of invasion of insect.
  • The appressorium produces a penetration peg that enters the external skein (cuticle) of the host.
  • The fungus produces hyphae inside insect body which proliferate and start feeding on insect’s internal contents.

• Mix AGRI NEMATODE at the proportion of 2-3ml per liter of water/ seed treatments/ drip irrigation / FYM.
• Individual Plants 2ml / 2 grams / liter of water & apply directly into the soil.

• Agri nematode controls effectively the economically important nematodes like root knot nematodes, burrowing nematodes, cyst nematodes, lesion nematodes etc., Among wide range of crops.
